Junior Eurovision: FYR Macedonia launches national selection, auditions on September 6! s announced some weeks ago, the Macedonian broadcaster is back in the Junior competition after a year absence. They have now open submissions to choose the best voice for Sofia! MRT has started receiving application for live auditions to be held on September 6 in the headquarters of the broadcaster. All Macedonian children aged 10-15 interested in representing their country at Junior Eurovision 2015 must send their submissions until September 5. During the live auditions, all participants have to perform two songs out of their own choice and one of the most successful Macedonian entries at Junior Eurovision: “Ding Ding Dong” (2007), “Prati mi SMS” (2008) or “Eo, Eo” (2010). MRT has started receiving application for live auditions to be held on September 6 in the headquarters of the broadcaster. All Macedonian children aged 10-15 interested in representing their country at Junior Eurovision 2015 must send their submissions until September 5.

Los interesados en representar a la Antigua República Yugoslava de Macedonia podrán mandar sus solicitudes hasta el 5 de septiembre a la MRT y el día 6 de septiembre se realizará, en la sede de la MRT, las audiciones en directo con todos los que hayan presentado su candidatura.

FYR MACEDONIA: IVANA PETKOVSKA AND MAGDALENA ALEKSOVSKA WILL SING AT JUNIOR EUROVISION 2015
FYR Macedonia’s MRT is hoping that 13 will be its lucky number. Today the broadcaster revealed that 13-year-olds Ivana Petkovska and Magdalena Aleksovska (not pictured at top) will sing for Skopje at Junior Eurovision 2015. We don’t know too much about the girls just yet, but we know that Miss Aleksovska likes tackling big songs, as seen below.

FYR Macedonia’s return to JESC comes after a one-year absence. In 2013 their starlet Barbara Popovic placed last with “Ohrid i muzika” — a fierce dance number that got some members of our in-house jury moving. “Can we get Barbara some boots because this is a real floor-stomper,” one juror wrote. “I love everything about this: Barbara’s energy, the frenetic choreography, the rhythm, the melody and, most of all, the fact that Barbara manages to sing while moving constantly.”

Even if the country has only placed in the Top 5 twice, they always bring upbeat Balkan-pop which leaves an impression. Are you as excited as we are?

La televisión pública de la Antigua República Yugoslava de Macedonia, MRT, ha anunciado hoy que Ivana Petkovska y Magdalena Aleksovska, de 13 años de edad, representarán al país en el próximo festival de Eurovision Junior. Aún no se sabe la canción que llevarán al festival.
